IMPORTANT: Please make sure you keep dogs crated while in your hotel room, place wee-wee pads on bathroom tile or non-porous material only (not on carpet) and then tie them up in plastic garbage bags and dispose of them discretely. It is highly recommended that you request a hotel inspection prior to check-out to avoid unexpected charges.
AKC DISCIPLINE GUIDELINES cover “conduct alleged to have been prejudicial to the best interests of purebred dogs, purebred dog events, or the AKC.” A Club’s Event Committee has a duty to hold a hearing and report to AKC any ‘Disorderly Conduct’, which includes ‘Personal property damage’ or ‘Impairing a club’s ability to retain site’, offenses which bear a 3 months to 1 year suspension from AKC event privileges and a $300 to $1000 fine.
